Welcome to Our Parent Teacher Association

We are a group of parents dedicated to help the school in organizing activities, programs, and events which aim at promoting school spirit and the love for our school. We also act as a communication channel between the school administration and the parents on matters that effect them the most. We believe in a strong coalition between the school and parents, with God in our midst.

Every parent of Oakville Christian School (OCS) is a member of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and is encouraged to find an area of interest and/or talent in which to become involved. It’s a wonderful way to make friends, support our independent private school, and to become better acquainted with all that OCS has to offer.

OCS PTA provides support services, student enrichment, special events, and fund raisers. Our Christian school community life is enriched with special events including Christmas Event, Founder’s Day and the Fun Fair. Pizza days not only provide a fun addition to the OCS lunch program, but proceeds go into a special account to help fund each year’s graduating class. Through the PTA, parents support the library, supervision, service council and other departments throughout the school. The Uniform Exchange gives parents a place to recycle and purchase “gently-used” uniforms.

These are only a few ways that OCS PTA contribute to – and enriches – the school experience for students and their families, as we strive to offer the best environment and supportive community. OCS PTA is governed by an executive board and events are managed through various committee chairs. All school PTA meetings are held as needed and details are published on this site and through the OCS News.
