OCS Board of Directors
Oakville Christian School is a non-profit organization operating under the direction and supervision of a volunteer board of directors. The volunteer board members are responsible for overseeing the leadership encompassing the following areas: Academics and Admissions, Communications and Promotions, Finance, Property, Strategic Planning, and Technology.
The board is comprised of both parents of OCS students, and non-parents, all providing expertise in various areas. They are united by their desire to see quality education at the elementary level and to help make OCS a school that “nurtures excellence in a Christ-centred academic environment.”
Members of the OCS board typically commit themselves to three-year terms of service. The composition of the board inevitably changes from year to year as members transfer on and off the board to fulfill their terms.
As a non-profit organization, Oakville Christian School is committed to reinvesting in the school to enhance the educational experience of all present and future OCS students.
